The Giant Polaroids were made in the Gamble Room at the Victoria & Albert Museum in 1989.






They are 50cm x 60cm instant prints taken on one of the original five large format cameras built by Polaroid Corporation in the 1970s, and made available by invitation to artists around the world. With a unique emulsion, long exposure times and, frequently, a short depth of focus, the prints have a unique quality.
The subjects are extensions on the Great War Project that Graham was working on at the time
